If you have to take it on via the sword, as mentioned before it will take a few hits and the noise made on death can easily attract other enemies in the area. I found sneaking up on a burrick harder than sneaking up on a regular human, and when you can deal with a burrick with a blackjack you need to be sudden to take it out. You implied in your previous message on how you should deal with the burrick and i gave my point of view, there wasn't any case for side stepping or running from them in that message so i won't be answering to that. The ones you should do this are the ones after you get the horn and the lone one next to a rope that leads to some water arrows. In fact they are easier to deal with than human enemies.įurthermore you can easily run past them (on most levels, Lost City is the only exception). They are no more easily startled than any other enemy. The noise they make actually doesn't affect anything. They only require one hit from the blackjack and if you have to use the sword, just strafe left and right they take a long time to turn around. you need to be precise when using the blackjack on the creature as well, Burricks are easily startled. Originally posted by Xautos:Burricks take a while to take out with enough overhead swings, i think it is 7 regular swings or 3 overhead and 1 regular, they make a heck of a noise going down as well.
